A year ago my family awaited a phone call that would change our lives forever. It was a devastating blow to me personally. From the beginning though I rarely focused on the why but on the how was I going to make this better for my family. I knew how I would get through this - Gods strength and mercy. What humbled me was the out pouring love and support from friends and family. God provided everything I needed and the needs of my family through all these people. However, what meant the most was knowing that people were praying. When I mean people were praying it meant people all round the world. People I have never even met were saying prayers for me because someone I did know asked them too. That is the power of prayer at work. Well a year has passed and I have had a clean scan. I can breath a little easier knowing as of right now I am cancer free. Please dont think that statement is negative because it is not. I am rejoicing that news but I also live in a reality that someday(when I am 90ish :) ) it may return. Thank you for your support, prayers and love.
