A year ago, my journey of joining a dance team have brought me many great memories and friends into my life. Being the raw talent from the streets and luckily I didnt quit, Im bless for my extensive friends who are my family on the team. Now, we are looking for the raw talent with or without a Mohawk, who enjoys dancing, no Drama, and likes to laugh (abundantly), then youre welcome to our OPEN Call for being apart of our Bachata Pasion Dance team. One caveat, you must have Passion, the Bachata will come later, just ask me. Current members of our team are extremely diverse, both Ethnicity and ages. We have Agustin Vidaurri, a true Original legend in his own right and hes 62 years young. A little secret as to why I havent quit the team because if a guy in his 60s could do it, whats my excuse. I still have 2 left feets. Valentin Jimenez, this dude works like 10 jobs, single parent and performs on 2 dance team. Not only hes talented, but he got the biggest heart on the team as our captain. Then theres me. They call me No Dance Skills Required! I join because of all the Hot Women. And, I wanted to look fly in those uniforms. My dance skills is average at best. Next are our amazing ladies. Karen Raga, she brings so much firecracker and spunk! I believe I learned how to twerk from her. We sometimes TwerkChata Battle in Practice. She always wins! A Russian Blonde Bombshell in Julia who should star on Dancing with the Stars because shes so talented. She goes hard! Another thing, she speaks Russian, German, English, Bachata, Salsa, and as of last night Kizomba. Last and definitely not least is my only dance partner that stuck it out with me Jolie Theresa. She was so timid and quiet at first, but shes definitely my comic relief partner. She has the most amazing eyes that gives cameras problems. Now, shes the hostess with the mostest and I consider her as our MVP, doing all our fashion designs, getting our T-shirts made and all. Plus, our coveted Dance instructor Kathy Reyes, who won all these awards in Bachata all over the World except China and Vietnam, jk... She has the heart of gold, patience of a mother, and understanding of a Champion that will bring the best out of ourselves. I beleive we are all better because of her dedication and love... I want to thank all the members of our team, past, present and future, Mea Marie, Anthony Martinez, Megumi Mamegoma, Edith Sanchez, that we are most certainly bless with the greatest talents. We are not looking for a Star on our team, we just want to bring it out of you. Please join us on June 11 at 8:30pm at A Time To Dance studio. Most importantly, you must know how to have FUN!
