A year ago right now I was in Moffitt Hospital in Tampa undergoing a stem cell transplant. Jerry reminded me that I was so very sick that I couldnt even talk on the phone! I remember I was alive but wondered if I wanted to be! A LOT (and thats an understatement) has happened in the past year - but thank God I am alive.....I have gained a bunch of strength.....I am writing and looking forward to teaching this next year and sharing how amazing our God is. I am enjoying life with a wonderful and caring man - and I am so blessed. I go this week for another series of baby shots to rebuild my immune system and another CT scan. I wont lie - I have to fight back some anxiety. Funny how you can go through so much with such calm assurance (that only comes through Gods grace) and then later - when you are a survivor in so many areas - you have the tendency to allow satan to try to plant seeds of fear! Last night during the night the Lord and I had a great discussion about all of this and He assured me He is STILL holding my hand! Yea, God! Sunday the message was titled God is Able! from Jude 24. I can certainly attest to that! My God is, has been and will continue to be ABLE! Hes my all in all.....Oh, I could just go off on all He is! Thank you, Jesus!
