A year ago today my life changed forever. But the pain Ive felt pales in comparison to what others have been through. My heart goes out to all those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Ive seen too many people have to live on in pain and have so many questions unanswered. If you ever feel emotional pain or just feel alone, Id love to talk to you. If you didnt already know, Im currently on medication for anxiety, and I visit a counselor at times. Ive also experienced severe depression, suicidal thoughts, self-destructive tendencies, cutting, and more. Im super open about these things. The deep darkness of depression can feel overwhelming when youre in it. It makes everything in life looks hopeless and awful and in that mindset, suicide starts to make a lot of sense as a means of escape. For myself, Ive learned that its times like those that you really need to reach out to others and, if nothing else, express what youre feeling. Anyway, sorry to be a downer. Love you guys :)
