A year of mini reflection - ACTME in 2014 Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our small club, our annual show and our fb page. The year began, like all others, as we prepared for our annual show each March. Thanks to all our traders, I hope you enjoyed your time with us and plan to come back for our 2015 show. Thank to all our visitors for browsing, purchasing, chatting, and getting inspired. On all counts our show was another success. On the very same day we participated in the inaugural Connect and Participate EXPO - bringing communities together. On all accounts the EXPO was also a great success, we will be participating again in 2015. I was approached by Kay, the Publicity Officer for the Belconnen Branch of Country Womens Association of NSW. As Rosemary, one of our club members, was giving a talk and Kay wanted to write an article for three of our local papers & magazines. Great mini write ups and great work Rosemary. The event that I personally enjoyed the most, was the offer to help Electric Shadows Bookshop launch Jesse Burtons novel The Miniaturist. It was a great opportunity to cross promote the book, the bookstore and our club. The most challenging part of my year, is the new website. I am so excited about this new site, we have more options, more flexibility, more space, our own domain (thats right no one else can use our name & it doesnt matter who our provider is). I am still ironing some details out and I hope to officially launch our website SOON. I also hope to be able to link our new web to our fb page in the very near future. Stay tuned. Our show for 2015 is on Saturday 28th March from 10am till 4pm, I do hope you will see you there. We will also have a table at the CAPS EXPO on Saturday 28th March, maybe I will see you there.
