AAAAAARGH!!! IM LOSING THE WILL TO LIVE!!! Reported broadband down to Demon (Vodafone) last week after BT fixed a faulty line. They seem to have re-established my ADSL connection at a respectable (for rural Herefordshire) 4Mb/s but I cant authenticate the PPP connection. Called Vodafone, reset my password and tried again... No connection Called again... Vodafone tell me that the PPP layer has been ceased by BT Call BT... They tell me that this is a service provider issue and that they (Vodafone) need to report it. Call Vodafone - We cant help you as the issue is with your BT line. Call BT - This is a service provider issue and THEY need to report it. Call Vodafone - This is a BT issue - Sorry, we cant help you. Call BT - This is a service provider issue yadda yadda yadda... Refused to accept this answer and got a bit annoyed with poor Kishour who went away and actually did some research... He has now told me to call BT Billing in the morning. WTF IS THE BILLING DEPARTMENT GOING TO DO ABOUT RE-ENABLING THE PPP LAYER?!!! Kill me now. :(
