#AACoFD | From our friends at Anne Arundel County Fire Department | BGE will be replacing static power lines in the area of I97 at Waterbury Rd and Generals Hwy. this weekend, May 16, 17 and 18th (weather dependent). They will use a helicopter in the replacement of the lines. People in the area will see low flying helicopters during the weekend. Sunday morning, May 18th, I97 will be shut down in both directions for about an hour while the new lines are stretched across the highway. Maryland State Police along with State Highway Administration will be handling the traffic control in the area. This project is not expected to cause any power disruptions to customers.
