ABILITY UNDER INTELLIGENT CONTROL But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.... Acts 1:8 Shall we receive power so that we just shake and fall? I once taught some high school students at a public seminar. I remember i said something to them by the Holy Ghost to this end that IT IS ONLY ABILITY UNDER INTELLIGENT CONTROL THAT IS OF COMMERCIAL VALUE. Everybody in the world has some special abilities and that includes some so called disabled people. Well i also am aware that there are those people who are bound by devils and were born with either 3/4 of their bodies dysfunctional and these folks need to have devils cast out of them and have JESUS come into them if they are ever to live victoriously. However An average human being is born with some special abilities, saved or not saved, Christian, Muslim, Hindu or whatever religion. God has deposited in each and everyone of us special abilities through which we can bless the world around us and be relevant to the world we live in and even generations to come. Now i have discovered that only people who get to know their God given abilities and develop themselves in that area are the ones who make it . Most Christians label people who have accomplished great things in the world as failures simply because they were not christians, well the real truth will be that the folks failed in the most important thing they should have succeeded in otherwise they were succesful in the world. Jesus said, What shall a man give in exchange for his own soul Mat 8:37 While we recognise that the most important part of man is his spirit we should also not ignore success in the physical world were we also live in the NOW. Some folks are so rich in their spirits but you dont get to see the riches manifest in the physical world were they also live. This is a great error in the church today. In Mat 25:14-30 JESUS gave a parable of the talents and he spoke against the UNPROFITABLE SERVANT.All these men were given talents but some decided to do nothing with what they had been given. JESUS gave examples in the physical realm which also suggest we can take that pararble literally. Having been Born again the bible shows us that the very ability of Christ JESUS has been given to us. What you do with that ability is up to you. I have seen many people who can sing better than many people we hear on radio but the only problem is these only sing in the bathroom and never discipline themselves to bring out the best from their inside and record. My brother always told me that In our village is a guy who runs so fast and am sure would give Hussein Bolt a hard time, but he has never has his athletic abilities exercised for commercial value. He only runs chasing and catching baboons with his bare hands. Mike Tyson was once that way,he fought so much in the streets until Don King met him,took him, cleaned him up, trained him better for commercial fighting. Mike Tyson would die poor,small and nobody ever knowing him yet he was one of the greatest boxers but not known simply because his abilities were not under intelligent control. You ladies who sing in choir, you are always buying CDs from Sinach when are we gonna buy yours? Young man who is playing Keyboard, you always playing like Frank Edwards when are we gonna hear your own music. About 8 years ago in my hood people called me Pastor Chris,well i am not Pastor Chris but as sure as the sun I AM PASTOR ALBERT doing what i learnt from Pastor Chris and sure enough packing stadiums. Well,its not dressing like Pastor Chris that will make me impact the world,ITS EXERCISING MY ABILITIES IN THE MANNER HE EXERCISED HIS. Jesus said, follow me, Paul said, imitate me as i imitate Christ. Young people get up and exercise your abilities, the world is waiting for people who do things that better lives,become that person to provide answers. Dont become a liability in the world, dont just use what other people created, what have you created which is being used by others? What a shame if all you are is just what other people thought of, the very phone you are using is somebodys idea, the light bulb you have is Thomas Edison who thought about it, somebody thought about the type of clothing you are putting on, somebody thought about the car you drive, WHAT ABOUT YOU,WHAT HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF THAT IS BENEFITING THE WORLD?
