ABOUT IMPACT PROJECT MINISTRY (IPM) IPM is a non-denominational and non-political Gospel Music Group with a current membership base of exceeding 120 people who are playing significant roles in their various churches and Christian Organizations. We are a registered non-profit organization and have been in existence for 14 years now impacting the society in various capacities. The group’s activities are executed in a 4-hour, weekly meeting; every Sunday. The group started and is still presently headquartered in Madina-Adenta, with its office situated 50 Meter from the Legon-Okponglo Junction. Impact Project for all these years have been providing the right environment and platforms for its members to excel music ministry, unearth and develop hidden giftings and talents, effectively building their spiritual, career and social status so as to be a “Complete Person” fully integrating in the larger society. We are a rich family-oriented ministry. We provide solid biblical teachings to equip us in our various ministries. Prayer and Bible Study forms part of every activity and are a core of all our meetings. It is a requirement therefore to be at rehearsals with your Bible at all times. We fast once every week- Thursdays-praying for ourselves and the ministry. VISION:----------------------- To become a voice for the gospel of Christ through the manifestation of His presence and all spiritual gifts for the benefit of God’s Kingdom. MISSION STATEMENT:------- That we shall exist for the course of the cross; making known the name of Christ and to be a radiant of light to the rest the world. We shall portray our love for Christ by living, singing, and preaching the Gospel of righteousness and demonstrate the love of God through our acts of reaching out to the sick, the poor, and those who are in need of Christs love. This in essence, is to prepare us for the glorious coming of our KING -JESUS. AIMS & OBJECTIVES:-------- 1. To provide a better means of praise and worship in the churches both within Ghana and abroad suited to the needs of our generation. 2. To build and deepen members’ understanding of the Christian faith and the singing ministry and their application to personal, social and economic life. 3. To form a formidable Choir that would go into album production and also on outreach programmes. 4. To develop fields of learning the art of contemporary music. 5. To show a clear link between talent and skills. MEMBERSHIP:--------- Membership of Impact project Ministry is be opened to anyone who 1. Acknowledges Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior; 2. Believes in the Trinity; God the Father; God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 3. Belongs to a bible believing church and is baptized 4. Identify with the ideals or the ministry. MOTTO:---------- The motto of Impact is Live the LIFE; Sing the LIFE, Preach the LIFE. The motto is a sum of what we stand for and it is important that we note that the LIFE in our motto carried on to the slogan refers to Jesus Christ. IMPACT PROJECT MINISTRY is blessed to have a fine mix of the best musicians and singers in the country. We have a 15-member executive/management team supported by committees such as “The Events Team”, “The Marketing/Media and Sponsorship Team”, Finance, Welfare, Prayer and counseling, Music Directorate and Evangelism Team. The executive board reports to the Board of Trustees. Fresh elections are conducted every two (2) years to elect new or re-elect executives. Mainly, our activities have largely been concentrated on school evangelism (tertiary and second-cycle), concerts, weddings, churches, among others. As a Music Ministry, we have over 20 composed and registered songs to our credit, some of which are often sang at our concerts. Plans are far advanced to launch our maiden album next year. The group is largely youthful, comprising mainly of university graduates between the ages of 22 to 35 years. TARGET AUDIENCE Impact Project, being a strategic and a forward-thinking organization, recognizes that mere audience demography is not an end in itself. We consequently structure programmes to suite our varied audiences. Examples of such programmes among other are; 1. SHS PRAISE AND WORSHIP EXPERIENCE; Annual programme targeted at SHS graduates across the country, giving them an opportunity to thank God for successfully seeing them through their education and also to create a platform where Godly Music, exciting, entertaining, uplifting and inspiring contents are imparted. 2. EVOLUTION – (Eight (8)Editions so far)it isan international Gospel branded Concertorganized yearly, featuring world acclaimed and Ghanaian gospel artists. This project is centered on Godly Virtues, put together in a Fun, Creativity, Team work, Belief, Inspiration, Can-do, Freedom and Innovationatmosphere. This has proven over the years to fit well with the lifestyle and interests of our target audience and indeed those of sponsors hence the significant growth in patronage. Our audience base over the years has mainly been Christians comprising the following categories: v Families & friends v Middle-to-Upper Class income earners v Key and Prominent Corporate and Public Dignitaries v Clergy v Graduates and Tertiary students (the upwardly-mobile segment of the economy) v Salaried workers v Youth v JHS & SHS students and graduates. EVOLUTION IN RETROSPECT Years of unrelenting pursuit for excellence and success in Gospel Music rendition and packaging, we believe, have yielded great dividends as evidenced by the significant growth in the Contemporary/Urban Gospel Music Industry in Ghana. Over the last Eight (8) years, EVOLUTION has shared platforms with numerous top gospel artists in Ghana among which include: Daughter of Glorious Jesus/ Minister Michael Kome, (Nigeria)/ Danny Nettey/ CwesiOteng/ KOFI Dua Antoh/Bernice Offei / Pastor Helen Yawson /Ike Nanor / Nii Okai / Spirit (Choreography) / Calvis Hammond /Pastor David Nana Asamoah/ Eugene Zuta/ Joe Mettle/ Terriz of Kings Jubilee/ etc. We feature the best Gospel Atistes in Ghana. Sound and technical services over the previous (5) years editions have been provided by the internationally renowned Sammi helwani and his Master Mix Studios at the National Theatre.
