ABOUT ISIS: I was just asked by a dear beloved old friend of mine in private what my take on the entire ISIS situation is. I thought Id share that with you all. I just had to speed-read and listen to an avalanche of information to develop an informed opinion on the topic. Even though I busted through it all in under two hours, it still takes a toll on me. =================== ISIS has hitherto been the highest funded terrorist/militant jihadist military organization in history, with an alleged 2 billion dollar bankroll. They have an array of stolen 1st world artillery that theyve gained from their attacks/raids, though theyre not manufacturing any the way the 1st-world countries are; what theyve got is what theyve got, and can only acquire more through attacks or buying them. They have several private donors scattered throughout the world, and actually cut ties with Al Qaeda because of their ideology was so extreme. Ive read information from both right and left political news sites, wikipedia (obviously), and collective information from reputable journalists and youtube videos. Their wikipedia page is over 30 pages long. That was a doozy to read. From what I can gather, that -isnt- being stated openly in the media is that attacking America in -any- form of conventional warfare is -not- what they will do. NO MATTER WHAT the media wants to hype you into believing. Theyd love to with all their hearts, but theyd lose their some 50,000 soldiers...who are being spread thinner and thinner with every territory that they take, and now that America is officially at war with them, you shouldnt expect those numbers to hold up whatsoever. However, thats not their goal. Their goal IS for America to attack them. Theyre more than prepared to die; they compete for martyrdom, in a way unlike any civilization to date. Theyve been brainwashed to the point where they have a love of death and the pinnacle of their culture, the highest status one can achieve is martyrdom. So, they KNOW theyre going to die if they go against America in any direct form of combat. Their ACTUAL goal is the hurt of Americas economy. Some 5 trillion dollars have been spent in the Middle East wars of this generation close to half of Americas entire GDP has been lost. All of because of this. Which is actually a play straight out of the CIA playbook; theyre doing what we trained them to do, how to defeat bigger armies. During WWII, French soldiers aimed to shoot the German soldiers NOT to kill them, but to wound them because to take care of a wounded soldier was far more expensive than a dead one. Their propaganda, with beheadings and such, are merely taunts meant to strike at Americas greatest weakness: our pride. Weve got a reputation to maintain: an expensive one. It only cost Al Qaida several hundred thousand dollars to fund the bombing of 9/11, and even though Iraq has lost 1 million people (plus 2 million more refugees or captured) which -would be- equivalent to 30 million Americans dead, 60+ million captured, wounded, defectors, etc. Devastating numbers for their civilization; however, they dont care. Theyre, like I said, in love with death. It completely matters not to them how many we kill/capture. Thats why theyre like a cancer. We only lost just short of 4 thousand soldiers in the last Iraq war. We only lost around 3 thousand in 9/11 ...which is absolutely tragic, but from the utilitarian philosophical viewpoint: its virtually nothing. So weve lost relatively 7 thousand people (not including the wounded, both physically and psychologically), in contrast with them having lost the equivalent of what would be 90 million in America. We lost more soldiers to suicide than we did to combat...I was nearly one of them. Obama does -not- want to go to war with ISIS, because hes smart enough to understand what war is doing to our economy...however, he has no choice. The concept of American pride extends far beyond his control, and he must do it because its the will of the people. Its the will of the people to maintain the global impression that were #1. So long as were attached to that, and as long as we think funding proxy armies (which is what Al Qaida originally was to us, an ally) the Islamic threat will not be destroyed, because its not the body count that matters: its their ideals. Behind this mask there is more than just flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea... and ideas are bulletproof. -V for Vendetta Theyre bulletproof so long as their ideas remains alive. How long we occupy their territory means nothing; how many we kill means nothing. ...unless we commit genocide and kill them all, which goes against our great principles, and turns us into a monster just like them. They most certainly CAN do small-scale terrorists attacks; that threat is real, though mitigated by our nations security forces HOWEVER.......dont ever expect an actual landing on our shores. That would defeat their purpose, and force them to lose valuable footing that theyve spent years to gain against America. Their best bet is a guerrilla war of attrition...on THEIR soil, where they can keep us destroying our economy and making ourselves look more and more like the villain with the more people we kill and bomb...which is exactly what this has been overall, since the first Gulf War. Every bomb that we drop is an advertisement or recruitment poster for them. So long as they can taunt us into destroying our economy with billions of dollars invested in shock & awe, by simply paying a few hundred dollars for a camera, $20 for a good knife, and the death of one measly reporter theyll continue that path, because its the surest way to victory. This is basically like the Joker taunting Batman to reveal his identity with the murder of innocent Gothamites. The difference though: is that Batman ate the bullet and stayed put; Americas not. I would only worry so much about terrorist attacks so much on our soil if we didnt respond to the beheadings, etc. Not because wed have displayed a show of weakness, but because theyd need to speak louder in order to be heard. Theyre only taunting us into self-destruction. Thats all they have to do. ========================= Thank you very much for respecting what I have to say. If I were president, I would minimize media coverage of it, because thats whats fueling this whole thing: Americas own media will be the source of the countrys downfall. The more the media strikes fear in the American peoples heart and taints our pride, the more prompted we feel to act. The more we bite the bait by acting, the more our economy becomes destroyed. Id black this out of the media, or at least give Americans something else to focus on, which is the true source of their power. Because thats what terrorists need; they need a medium of striking terror to gain political power. Cut THAT off, and their efforts basically become asinine or basically pointless; their idea weakens because no one is paying attention to it...and then the government could wipe them out VERY easily, inexpensively, and quietly. Case closed.
