ABOUT ME! Well as you should all know that my name is Alexander William Tighe. I was Born in Bishop Auckland hospital 4 weeks early. This of course did have its advantages. If that had not happened I would not be in year 12 now. I would be in year 11. ... I was born on August 15th 1997 this makes me 16 years old. I have special needs and that’s who I am. I have Autism along with a few other things. That’s who I am and I don’t care what others say about me as that’s me. Without my special needs I would not do half the things I do today. Photography is one of my main interests along with transport and music. Photography to me is probley like football to the majority of people. I have been in local newspapers magazines and so on with my photography I have also entered a few competitions my next will be this Friday. Music to me well I have always wanted to play guitar and that’s what I began playing but gave up o I moved to playing piano in 2004/5 this Is when I lived in Staindrop. I had piano lessons on the big house on south green in Staindrop. When I moved into this house I live in now I was bought a fantastic drum kit which I still have. That was it I played them and I have played them ever since. I have played drums for almost six years now. So these days I play Drums and piano/keyboards. My theory is you can play any instrument if you try! Heavy rock and Heavy metal music is me too. Although I will listen to the classics such as Whitesnake Bon Jovi you will find Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot in the collection too. I of course will go in to my piano music. Been in to classical music means I like people such as Beethoven and Joules Holland. Well I have seen Joules Holland live. I am sure that way in 2006 in Durham. And of course my transport. I love the railways that me I will always be on a railway or doing something with a railway. I have now been into railways for 4 years 1 month and 10 days. So of courses I know an awful lot of people. My transport gets bigger and bigger I love motorbikes The doctor valotino rosi is not my favourite bike racer it is Guy Martian with Paul mugginess behind him. It goes on to my hobbies such as Eddie Stobart spotting with a wide range of models in my cabinet and in the spotters clue. Fomlar one Is also the next biggest area I go into. Lewis Hamilton all the way! The best one is my busses I know a wide range of bus enthusiasts from my travels and travelling on old busses such as yup 6 last year the day after my birthday! Photography is my life. When ever I walk places I can spot a photo with out picking the camera up. I decided to study photography at GCSE and achieved an A in the subject. I was amazed with my GCSE results as they were amazing. I achieved 2 B’s in Science, a B in music, C in ICT 3 marks off a C in English, a E in Maths and C in RE. This was a great achievement. I was told my RE teacher that I passed as I never put my opinion of the paper! My bedroom is full of history. Mallard 75 takes up a whole wall it’s full of newspaper clippings and I love it. May be worth money in the future. I love history especially the railways. I live a few miles away from the first railway in the world. I am working on that at the moment; Brusselton Incline. I have a huge B1 poster of me on K1 62005 at Shildon in 2008 when it was my first steam gala. This was a present from my granddad. Talking of Mallard 75 when I went to York for the great gathering I made some T-Shirts for me and my granddad to wear. These had all of the surviving A4 locomotives on. The amount of people who asked me where I got them was great. This allowed me and my granddad to act upon the request. I set about working to sell them at Mallard 75 final even the Great Goodbye in Shildon Febuary of this year. So when it came I had 70 T-shirts printed and of I went everyday a bag full and my camera. I most say I have around 10 left. With the money I made I bought my self a Nikon D3000 camera which I use today. And of course I have never had a job as I have always volunteered. I have volunteered and still volunteer with organisations such as (the railways) Weardale Railway Bishop Auckland Station Trust Shildon Model Railway club Durham Locomotive Preservation Group Sir Nigel Gresley Trust Brusselton Incline Group The friends of Bishop Auckland Station Thorpe Light Railway I have volunteered in other areas away from the railways too! I love to help local places and make a difference in the local area. I love to get out and enjoy the fresh air. If I was given a Xbox or something along them lines I would give you it back as I have not got a clue in how to use them. So if you ever see me it will be me out of my house or on the railways r in the pub celebrating something. I like to support local bands too!
