ABOUT MEDITATION Now that we have our first English Language pupils,we recommend them a good practice. Meditation is a technique that helps us concentrate and keep in touch with our inner selves and the present moment. There are many reasons why it’s good for Students: - It improves concentration - It reduces blood pressure and therefore, stress. - It helps us to sleep better. - It relieves headaches. - It improves brain function and imagination. If you are in the mood for trying this technique, we suggest you to listen to this audio from Allan Watts, an American philosopher of the seventies, who introduced meditation and other spiritual techniques from oriental philosophy into occidental culture. So the aim is to practice our English. Therefore we have translated the first part of the meditation so that you can check out if you understood it ok.
