ABSOLUTELY OVER THE MOON RIGHT NOW! As I was riding my bike around the streets of Milan in the warm summers breeze this afternoon, I found out that I won the Soul & Surf competition! In other words, Im off to KERALA, INDIA to stay at a yoga, surf & wellbeing retreat!!! The competition stipulated that I write about my love and why I am not living my dream. I wrote about my love for food & all that it encompasses in a broader realm – health & nutrition, organics, sustainable agriculture, fair trade, food’s ability to foster a sense of community, to bring people of all walks of life together, to transverse language barriers... Out of hundreds of entries they picked mine! And my plus-one is you Dougy, after all, you encouraged me to enter the competition (which I reluctantly did super late at night on the last day), you are the one who I want to share my dream with & you have always been there for me to balance me out, put things into perspective, make me laugh, challenge my thinking & inspire me to live my dream.
