ABU DHABI Day 8: We are staying at a hotel in Dubai one night because we were originally suppose to run/swim in an Aquathon (5k run/750m swim) on Saturday morning... Well the run got canceled :(. But we kept our hotel plans because there is so much to do here and we are 1hr away from Abu Dhabi. SO glad we did! Because of all my travel for work, I am an Elite Plus mbr of Expedia and this place was on the VIP list, which means I get free upgrades and amenities. WOW! Weve been given the royal treatment in a 5 star resort that sits across the street from the Burj Khalifa in the Worlds richest city... And the cement pond is to die for! Lol!
