ACADEMIA PLATONOS (PART 3 conclusion) ACADEMY OF PLATO was established HERE something like 2300 years ago The school was FORCED to close about 500 AD by DIOKLITIANOS with ALL the other GREEK SCHOOLS OF PHILOSOPHY It was the coming of RENAISSANCE ERA (1500 AD) that the school reopened (in England and the west) that gave a new start to the WORLD !!! When I saw the area (as you can see) of the ground it reminded me of any modern UNIVERSITY CAMPUS Think of the graduates of that time !!! I FORGOT TO TELL YOU By the entrance of the school there was a sign with the inscription Ο ΑΓΕΩΜΕΤΡΗΤΟΣ ΜΗΔΕΙΣ ΕΙΣΙΤΩ If you dont know GEOMETRY dont bother to enter This was my (first ever) time to visit that site even I have lived 20 yearshere I not alone Most of the people of Athens and not only dont bother about what they have in there FRONT YARD but they want to go abroad living there JEWELS behind ΤΙ ΚΡΙΜΑ !!!
