ACCIDENT PRONE (knocked down but not knocked out ) Freak accident at the Flower shop yesterday caused me to literally see stars. A dear customer in her haste slammed the tailgate door of her SUV on my head so hard it knocked me down and almost knocked me out. Life circumstances sometimes have a way of chipping away at our joy...faith....our peace and yes sometimes our health. But today as I struggled through the pain of injury...feeling a little sorry for myself..wondering why I seem to be accident prone....in all His lovingkindness and mercy he touched my body and mind my very soul.. and brought renewed strength and faith . I am so thankful that now instead of wallowing, as He always does, He has taken a time of pain and transformed it..transformed ME... Many of His words in the scripture were a healing balm today : * They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength..they shall mount up with wings as Eagles...EAGLES :) Isaiah 40:31 *God is faithful..He will not allow you to be tempted above that which you are able... 1 Corinthians 10:13 *And we know all things work together for good for those who are the called ones according to His purpose....Romans 8:28 **** and lastly but certainly not least...LOL Now to Him who is able to keep you from FALLING and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with EXCEEDNG joy.....Jude 1:24 & 25 Knocked down but NOT knocked out !
