ACCORDING TO E. W. KENYON THERE ARE SIX METHODS OF HEALING: 1) John 14:13-14 (KJV) 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Verse 13 says to ask but verse 14 says he WILL do whatever we ask, when we ask in the name of Jesus. So, since Jesus already gave us authority we are no longer asking for healing, we are commanding healing. We are not commanding it from our Father because he already gave it to us. We are commanding it from satan, the one who stole it from us!!!!!!!! 2) Mark 16:18 (KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. The believer has the power of God living in them. The power goes through their hands to the sick and heals them. Sometimes the sick actually feel the power of God enter their bodies. And sometimes the sick actually feels the spirit of sickness leave their bodies. And sometimes the body is healed immediately and sometimes the body takes a short time to heal completely, but the spirit leaves immediately and the sick can usually feel it leave. 3) James 5:14 (KJV) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: This scripture was aimed at unbelieving believers. Is any sick among you.. means the Christians in the church. 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV) 1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? So, James 5:14 is speaking to the carnal Christians. Those who are still being bottle fed the milk of the Word. Not for those who are being fed the meat of the Word for those who are fed meat already know that healing is theirs and all they have to do is command the devil to flee. I suppose that many of us still need help from time to time because in these days the devil is getting more and more angry and attacking more and more. However, it still remains that those who wholeheartedly believe shall walk in freedom from sickness. 4) John 16:23-24 (KJV) 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. ANYTHING we ask God, in the name of Jesus, he will give it to us. ANYTHING, not some things. ANYTHING, not only IF it is his will. ANYTHING, because he wants us to be joyful. Wouldnt you give your children anything they asked for if you could??? Well, God not only can, but he wants to and he will!!! 5) Matthew 18:18-20 (KJV) 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Where two command, in agreement, binding and loosing the enemy, everything they command shall come about. And sometimes we do need extra help binding and resisting the enemy, especially in these last days. 6) Healing should come with conversion and be a mainstay in the Christianss life. Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Matthew 13:15 For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Isaiah 53:3-5 (KJV) 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes ye are healed. WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED! 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. BY WHOSE STRIPES WE WERE HEALED!!! Matthew 8:16-17 (KJV) 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES!!! TIS THE END OF CHRONIC TROUBLES IN THE BODY!!!!!!!!
