ACHRISTMAS RANT 2014. Is anyone else disturbed with Cell phones costing more than laptops, tablets, and desktops!? Even upcoming brands like HTC, Huawei, and multiple mimics of the iPhones, and Samsung droids. whats the point of a computer if you have 800 dollars worth of technology in your pocket... Manufacturing secret: the cost of current cellphone technology is not worth it. Opinion: more than 90% of consumers are not capable of using this technology to its full capability. 90% of apple consumers are illiterate when it comes to operating Apple devices. Cellphones: we essentially pay for 1. accessibility (stop making big ass phones, people stop buying them...get a mobile tablet); 2. data storage (it shouldnt be as pricey as it is, but we understand that more than 90% of consumers are stupid); 3. Mechanical parts that are stupidly expensive (phones are still not indestructible...screens are glass now....all phones are still not waterproof, despite the value); 4. Battery life...most if not all cellphone companys do not produce their own batteries (stupid); 5. Processing speed (only so much you can do to increase the speed activity on cell phones bc of the size (hence, these big phones)...upgrade in technology to increase the output will be available soon but will that increase the cost of the phone more....; 6. The camera (best part) however, glass and lenses (stupid expensive for no reason...screw nikkon, cannon, and Samsung), sensory technology for cameras these days is ridiculous amazing...its available...so why do we charge insane prices for it now; 7. Brand name...i would never (100% of consumers fall prey to this thing...stupid). Until next Christmas, happy holidays once again
