ADMIN - I have received clearance to disclose the name of the Submariner who lost his life earlier this week..it is now fairly common knowledge across the internet .......I had hoped to have a statement from one of his shipmates but understandably the young lad who was to do this feels a little overwhelmed to do it...so Im afraid it falls to me to announce this... Our Fallen Submariner is a young lad of just 24..a Killick UC FROM HMS TIRELESS..Gary (Gaz) Thomas. https://facebook/gaz.thomas.39. I am very sad to report that this young man took his own life and tragically leaves behing a loving family and 4 month old daughter. WE REMEMBER SUBMARINERS tenders its condolences to all involved in this tragic affair, family, friends and shipmates alike.People are leaving messages on his page as detailed above, but please feel free to do so on the thread below this posting. I shall collate them and include them with our condolence card. I am in conversation with Paul Foran who is raising money for our remembrance efforts in Plymouth and we are agreed that some form of donation will be made from our funds....details to be worked out. Naturally we stand ready to provide a wreath, molly pins and support of any kind that may be needed. RIP young man.RESURGAM
