A volunteer writes: Could there be a more heartbreaking opening to a dogs intake notes than this: Spotify was found tied to a pole in the rain. People working nearby said she had been there for hours. Who knows what miseries Spotify has witnessed in her short time on Earth, all I know is that she deserves to be safe and loved, now and for the rest of her life. A beautiful and mysterious girl, shes shy but curious, timid yet appreciative of attention. Sweet with everyone she meets but truly at ease only with a select few, competition to be her new BFF is red hot and all of us wish we could be the one to write (as a favored volunteer did after walking her to the park) that this lovely, gentle girl has come out of her shell - Shes great! Spotify is the kind of dog you want to succeed so much it hurts and every time she refuses to go past the gate or cowers from my hand she breaks another little piece of my heart.
