Ken is telling of the soldiers coping with the stress of impending danger and death, He writes as a young small town guy 12,000 miles from home on the back side of the Earth where he is growing up, facing his duties ,and thinking of practical jokes to cut through to relief stress. It seems to become automatic- dont think too much about it. Just do it! You will reread this book of funny stories , such as when one of the guys received a special issue of PLAYBOY . THEN THERE IS A TALE ABOUT A TINY WAR WITH A TINY MOUSE, MICKEY RAT. GUYS DECIDE TO ADMIRE MICKEYS BRAVERY OR ARROGANCE. MICKEY BECOMES ONE OF THE GUYS IN THAT HE EATS COOKIES AND POPCORN PROVIDED BY HIS BUDDIES WHO PROVIDE. THE THEATER FOOD DURING MOVIES.
