ADVICE FOR THOSE WHO ARE APPLYING FOR CHANGE OF COURSE: Not everyone who applies will be admitted into the department he or she is applying for. I said this because I have seen people who got frustrated in the name of changing course. Some people, once they purchase the change of course from and process it, they now start believing that they have changed, some will no longer be serious with what is going on in the their departments, some will be missing lectures and so on, some will go and sign out from their departments with the hope that they will be admitted in the other department they are going to. The consequence is that you will end up being a floating student and become frustrated if you end up not being admitted in that department you are going to. I have seen people in such situations. A bird at hand still worths more than a million in the bush. Furthermore, make sure you have an idea of some of the courses the department you are going into normally does in the first year and do some of them to avoid lacking behind or getting worked up or confused in that department you are going into. All these matter a lot.
