ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00184 I am hoping to gather some advice if at all possible. My 4 y.o daughter is high functioning Autistic, ISD, ADHD and severe anxiety... She fell at school and requires stitches. (That hospital visit ended horribly) we ended having to hold her down... She needs the stitches removed and every time I try to help her understand she goes into a complete meltdown and does the flight pattern... Any advise on how I can make this less traumatic for her Id greatly appreciate... As you can see the injury is in her face and she is at the point where the antibiotic creams are driving her insane. She he severe sensory issues and cannot handle being held.. I am at loss for how to help her. She cries instantly when I even talk to her about it.
