ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00347 I need some advise for my son who has a g-tube. My 9 month old is on bolus feeds during the day but continues feeds at night. We have problems with him getting tangled in the tubing... We have the pump in the backpack on the corner of the bed ( so the tubing lay flats on the mattress) this has helped a little. We tried pipe insulation over the tubing so that he couldnt wrap it around himself but it kept coming unhooked from his extension sets and he was trying to chew on it ( dont want foam in his mouth). Today I woke up to him caughing because it was around his neck twice!!! Scary!!! He is ok but this really scares me. Does anyone have suggestions what todo to keep him from getting tangled in it?
