AFGHAN PEACE (Project for the Promotion and Enhancement of the Afghan Capacity for Effective Development) Welcome to Japan! from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd batch participants. The 4th batch long-term training participants from Afghanistan, Mr. MALIKZADAH Ahmad Qais, Mr. MOHAMMADI Sayed Mohammad Jalil, Mr. NICNAM Mohammad Masood, Mr. MOHAQQEQ Ehsanullah and Mr. SHARIFI Mohammad Haroon, arrived in Japan. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd batch participants invited them to Special Lunch! They enjoyed exchanging the useful information each other. Then they had a meeting with the professors in charge to introduce themselves and to know the outline of their life at Tokyo University of Agriculture. Mr. MOHAQQEQ expressed their thanks and showed the positive attitude to achieve the good results to the professors. They will take on their own research until March 2017. After returning to Afghanistan, participants are expected to provide solutions to the development issues which Afghanistan has been facing in the area of Agriculture and Rural Development. We support them to make the best use of their experiences for their own nation‐building!
