AFRICA DEFINE YOURSELF: AFRICANS IN DIASPORAS AND IN AFRICA OUR PROBLEM IS NOT ONLY COLONIAL AND IMPERIAL ENEMIES BUT THE BLACK-SKINNED AND WHITE-MASKED ENEMIES WITHIN WHICH OBLIGE SERIOUS DECOLONIZATION OF AFRICAN MINDS By Senzo Scholar As Africans in Diasporas and in Africa we should be extremely vigilant of Africa’s enemy within. The enemy within comprise rent-seeking puppets of colonial and imperial super-powers. Most of them occupy highest height of African leadership and priesthood strata. It is materially significant to accentuate that these rent-seeking puppets span across all walks of life in Africa and in the Diasporas. Some are leaders of African Union Assembly, whist others are African intellectuals, scholars, savvy entrepreneurs, luminaries, executives and intelligentsia from civil society leaders and corporate Africa. Alas African brothers and sisters, Africa’s teething and stubborn problem is not only the white men on the outside but the white men on the inside, which Franz Fanon called Black skin white masks [https://youtube/watch?v=sO3BwWH-1AA&index=5&list=PL_L_iUCwOIfR7Q_pXdU-tsiRJQvTHRRoB]. These black men white skin, are agents of white supremacy and black subjugation. Hence they are white supremacists with our own flash and blood. White supremacists governments utilize capital, education and religion to romance and entice many African leaders, scholars, entrepreneurs and intelligentsia and convert them into to become agents of neo-colonial and neo-imperial agenda. This is the chief reason why there’s an exponential growth of rent-seeking Black skinned white masks pushing the neo-colonialism and neo-imperialism for their slave masters. The socio-economic gains accrued from being rent-seeking puppets are very tempting. Consequently most of our African brothers and sisters are bedevilled with ceaseless adulation of the white supremacy. These colonized African brothers and sisters vehemently venerate, relentlessly revere and ceaselessly lionize white supremacy and black subjugation. Their minds, hearts and souls are sold to the colonial and imperial beasts and devils. It is against this backdrop that Africans in Africa and in Diasporas, have a daunting task of decolonizing the colonized and imperialized African minds, hearts and souls. Lucid and solid critical points of material considerations in this front are well captured in an article entitled ‘Decolonizing the African Mind’, clearly accentuated that - (a) The colonial powers conscripted the multilateral institutions as their base and instruments for advancing neo-colonialism and neo-imperialism as nonviolent psychological warfare; (b) In order for the coloniser to be the complete master, it is not enough for him to be so in actual fact, he must also believe in its legitimacy. In order for that legitimacy to be complete, it is not enough for the colonized to be a slave; he must also accept his role; (c) The colonial nations use the academic curricular, evangelism, religion, and belief as central means and instrument(s) for advancing, defending psychological neo-colonial warfare. The majority of the African states are relying on colonial universities and education systems designed to promote white supremacy and dethrone or thwart African excellence; And therefore (d) It is critical to restructure the education system, and use it as means to reverse the colonized African mind, whilst also preventing the neo-colonization of African children. This could be achieved through development of strategies and programmes aimed at decolonizing the African education curricula. More significantly (e) The formation of the United States of Africa through the Union Government of Africa will provide the long overdue full political integration. This will help Africa to use its continental sovereignty strategically to speak in one mighty political authoritative voice against any form of colonizing and exploiting Africa. Above all (f) The primary object is to wipe out the colonial and mental tendencies, beliefs and doctrines, and replace these with consciousness, love and adoration of Pan Africanism, African Renaissance, African Pride, African Solidarity and unity. Colonial and mental tendencies, beliefs and doctrines are installed through education from lower primary up to the tertiary academic institutions such as African universities. This has been systematically rolled out throughout Africa using well-established colonized institutional machinery such as African universities. It is against this rationale that African Universities require an obligatory decolonization. This require decolonization of their educational content, context, systems and programmes. However great focus should be on replacing the 400-year old systematically installed colonial tendencies and mind-sets thereby re-Africanizing Africans in Africa and in Diasporas through decolonized African Universities. This systematic decolonization of African universities, should also be employed to foster, espouse, traction and engulf Pan Africanism, African indigenous pride, identity and Afrocentric cultures and life style. Africa must unite politically, geopolitically and socio-economically in order to expose and defeat neo-colonialism and neo-imperialism, and free Africa from US- led colonial and imperial Scramble for Africas Resources.” As impressed upon, above, part of decolonizing educational and/or learning institutions include re-writing of African history by Africans from African perspectives. African scholars, intellectuals, professors and intelligentsia, equally need humourless colonial cleansing, decolonization and de-imperialization. Decolonization and de-imperialization of African minds is not the burden some tasks to be discharged solely and exclusively by academia. It is at the centre of everyone’s African Renaissance agenda, pursuits and persuasions. The stubborn and costly enormous challenge is the fact that decolonization and de-imperialization of Africa and African minds, hearts and soul is often thwarted by Africa’s enemies within. The enemy (ies) within are African-white supremacists who are ghastlier form of neo-colonialism and neo-imperialism. All these African-white supremacist are burdensome curse to all Africans in Diasporas and in Africa because there are enemies within. We must recognize that African young lioness and lions in Diasporas and in Africa are going to shoulder the victorious combat of neo-colonialism and neo-imperialism. We must therefore, conscientise African youth from Diasporas and in Africa conscious of the modus operandi of above-mentioned politically romantic colonial and imperial beasts wearing our own flash and blood. Decolonization of African minds, hearts and souls aimed at exterminating black skinned white masks, cannot happen on its very own. It will not fall like manna from heaven. It obliges agency based coordination of concerted efforts and resources as well as political will and force. It is therefore befitting and long-overdue to moot an African-wide movement coalesce, as an agency for amassing political currency required to foster and manifest the aforesaid. This African continental-wide political movement coalesce should be discharged with an African continent-wide geopolitical mandate of spurring and accelerating the formation of the Union Government of Africa [dfa.gov.za/docs/2007/ghan_decl0706.htm]. The African Union government should be under Confederated African States (countries) [citypress.co.za/politics/dlamini-zuma-sees-confederation-african-states-continents-future/ ] led by one African-continental wide executive President. The rest of African heads of states should become Prime Ministers under the leadership of one African continental-wide executive President. The executive President of Africa, should be enshrined with constitutive African sovereignty powers under the African Union Assembly [au.int/en/organs/assembly], which should be converted to African Union Parliament. This will replace and merge the African Union Assembly and Pan African Parliament [pan-africanparliament.org]. Most significantly these Pan African leaders (prime Ministers and executive President) under the African Parliament must not be black skinned white masked. The African Union’s future leaders will emanate today’s young African who are not yet contaminated colonial and imperial rent-seeking tendencies and puppetism. Accordingly, African brothers and sisters in African and in Diasporas, we have an inescapable tasks of fostering a cohort of Pan African Revolutionary Youth imbued with staunch foresight and pan African revolutionary spirit of Kwame Nkrumah, Muammar Gaddafi and Thomas Sankara et al. In the 1960s the father of the concept Neo-colonialism, our Pan Revolutionary martyrs, Kwame Nkrumah, strategically cautioned that - “1. American and European companies connected with the world’s most powerful banking and financial institutions are, with the consent of African governments, entering upon major projects designed to exploit new resources of primary products; 2. In some cases these are allied to long term venture establishment of certain essential industries. In the main, however, they are confirming themselves to the production of material in their basic or secondary stages, with the object of transforming them in mills and plants owned and run by the exploiting companies in metropolitan lands; and 3. Africa has failed to make much headway on the road to purposeful industrial development because her natural resources have not been employed for that end, but used for greater development of western world” Some members of the BRIC bloc disguised themselves as friends of Africa. Their agenda is to covertly harbour their imperial ambitions and agenda. The challenge defined by Nkrumah lately is a by-product of the ‘Beijing Consensus’ [nepad.org/nepad/knowledge/doc/2775/beijing-declaration-fifth-ministerial-conference-forum-china-africa-coopera] The African union by signing Beijing Consensus, unintentionally legitimized African exploitation that satiate colonial and imperial nations’ thirst for draining Africa socio-economically. This became what many called China’s soft power to imperialize Africa – [jamestown.org/programs/chinabrief/single/?tx_ttnews%5Btt_news%5D=3901&no_cache=1#.VKK5DBCA] and [thebrokeronline.eu/Articles/How-will-the-Beijing-Consensus-benefit-Africa] . South African is better placed as the only country that enjoy membership of BRICS, to act as a vanguard of Pan African Renaissance. In so doing South Africa should protect Africa from the western and (lately eastern) exploitation of Africa’s primary resources through colonial and imperial multinationals operating in Africa. African in Diasporas and in Africa must unite to curb these soft (non-violent) imperial and hard (violent) colonial Scramble for Africa’s Resource by eastern and western countries through their multinational corporations and multinational institutions. In this regard South Africa should be the visible and impeccable yoke of African unity, and her failure to do so will be tantamount pernicious betrayal to anti-colonial and anti-imperial Pan African Revolution. South Africa should be the unifying force coalesce between the G4 BRIC bloc, and African nations under the auspices of the African Union. South African must protect and spearhead African unitary missions, aspirations and concerted efforts thereof. Aluta Continua!!
