AFTER HE LEFT HOME his father did not let him go off his mind a single day. Each of those prodigal days of the son was also a traumatic day for the father. The prodigal son. The father never was hard on him, while he asked for his portion of the fathers wealth, subtly did he give it to him, though he knew, he wasnt ripe for it, but mercy, compassion and goodness could not refuse him! He was forgiven the day he left home, no hard feelings, no vindictive dispositions, like the one found in his brother! Years after the father had forgiven him, his brother was yet to, he himself was even yet to ask for forgiveness. While gallivanting around, his father never wish one day that he will come into any evil. Thoughtfulness could have taught him to return to the forgiven arms of his father before he could serve lower fathers as slave or even eat with swine- a lower animal! But! He was thoughtless! He forgot the thought of the love with which he was raised. He forgot the thought of the huge amount invested on his training. He forgot the thought of the time and rigor repository on his upbringing. Until he slaved in the household of the stranger and ate ignominiously with degenerate swines. Then he returned. To find his father sitting at the topmost part of the house where he can see the way leading back home expecting his arrival! What a love! What a faith he had! That he will return one day! God never wrote you off. The day you were born into sin he had been praying, SON GIVE ME YOUR HEART! As you grew in sin, He never once plan that you will perish, HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. As you ignore His provision of grace for salvation, He pleaded with you, COME LET US REASON TOGETHER, THOUGH YOUR SINS ARE RED AS SCARLET, YOU WILL BE WASHED AND BE AS WHITE AS SNOW. Before you could think of repentance he stretched a hand of grace towards you! Your brothers may yet hold that grudge against you, your church may dwell still on your sin, your pastor may not be able to erase your evil did from his mind, your spouse and children may think YOU WILL NOT CHANGE, not God! He stays at the door knocking for an entrance into your heart. He forgave you the first day and awaits you daily to return to grace. Stop shaving for lower fathers, your father awaits you now! Stop eating debris with swines, a table is prepared for you at home! Stop thinking will he forgive me? He made the plans for your redemption even before you were born! Come home now! His warm embrace awaits you! God help you. Amen. Good day pals.
