AFTERNOON EDITION ** ID REGISTRATION STARTS ** The registration exercise for national IDs has started countrywide, with all Ugandans above 16 years expected to register. The exercise is meant to have each Ugandan acquire an electronic ID, after the process flopped earlier in 2012. Reports we are getting however indicate a low turn-up in certain places, while in some areas the equipment has not arrived for the process.
