AFTERNOON UPDATE: May 28th, 2014 MISS TOURISM FINALISTS AIM FOR TWO GLOBAL HERITAGE PAGEANT CROWNS What is the difference between Miss Heritage world and Miss Heritage International? The answer is the two are different entities legally registered to run beauty pageants. Perharps the best question is; Are they internationally recognized? Yes they are, with an aim to promote Peace, Environment Tourism, Culture and above all global Heritage from a global perspective. That aside, what matters are the accolades that Uganda’s tourism sector is going to add in the cabinet. Last month, 2nd runners-up Miss Tourism Ayishar Nagudi was selected to represent Uganda’s heritage in the 2nd edition of the Miss Heritage world pageant hosted on the 6th of December in the Kingdom of Lesotho. The 26 year old smiling beauty queen is expected to conquer 42 other global queens. Less than a month, Miss Tourism finalist 2013-2014 Florence Namwase has also been chosen to raise the Pearl of Africa’s flag in the inaugural Miss Heritage International 2014 pageant hosted in Nepal. The 21 year old business computing student will have to soar higher than 32 international beauty icons to deserve the crown. During the launch of Miss Tourism pageant 2013, Minister of Tourism Hon.
