AG: Latest Warner allegation would negatively impact TTs image ATTORNEY General Anand Ramlogan says he hopes ILP Leader Jack Warner would cooperate with international investigations on matters that could negatively impact Trinidad and Tobago. The AG made the statement following a report in the UKs Telegraph Newspaper which claimed to have seen documents which appeared to show that the former FIFA Vice President and his family were paid millions of dollars following the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar. These allegations have been made in the international media and obviously it would negatively impact on the countrys image. It is our hope that Mr. Warner would cooperate fully and be frank during the course of these investigations. AG Ramlogan said although the matter is international, investigators will have the full support of the Trinidad and Tobago Government, if needed. This investigation, the jurisdiction for it is international and it would appear that it is a matter that is being dealt with elsewhere so that we do not have any role to play in the investigation, save and except that if there is any information or assistance that we are called upon to provide, the Government stands ready and willing and able to so do.
