AICC is no doubt managing the affairs of Congress party and is the highest policy / decision making body Seeing its performance in recently held elections one could conclude that there is some thing wrong some where .People are loosing faith in Congress and its vote bank is sliding . To get its past glory the party should stick to its original ideology in spirit .It should follow aggressive Secularism and fulfil its promise as per its ideology to various segments of the Society .People still need Congress .Unfortunately party is dominated with communalists and the voice of secularists in party is weak.Even the choice of the leading party heads is not proper . For example in UP they dont have good machinery . The UPCC Chief is the least known person . If congress is really serious to revive the party in UP ,it should use its good and ignored Party Activists. Chowdhry Bijender Singh ,former MP from Aligarh is one such name. He commands lot of respect and is very dedicated and bold leader , if he is made UP Party President then certainly Party will grow exponentially .Another name is that of VK Bansal , former MLA from Aligarh,MLC and Secretary AICC ,he is very popular and talented leader . There are very few like him i the party .He may be inducted on all India Level like Gen. Secretary AICC . Party has lot of talents but they are not properly used . Leaders like Digvijay Singh , Raj Babbar, and Mani Shanker Ayyer commands lot of respect and confidence of Muslims ( I dont want to confuse with the name of Minority ) and be given prominent positions in the organisation .UP Elections are only two years away so Party should bring necessary changes at the earliest.
