AJAA Softball is pleased to announce that we will be expanding our " Assault" travel program through out the league for the 2014 season. The Assault is AJAA Softball in house travel program that caters to the softball players that crave a little more competition. The Assault program is a Sunday Alliance based program ( with the exception of 16U) that allows those who qualify for the team, a chance to play other organizations travel squads with double headers on Sundays. This program was a huge success this last spring as our 8U division had a pilot run in it. This program is easy on the travel as most locations are within a county of Marion County. It is also cost efficient too. If your daughter is interested in trying out for this new exciting program, please have them come to our open tryout dates set for Saturday August 17th & 18th and Saturday Aug 31st. Here are the following times for each age division: Session 1 Saturday Aug 17th 8U - 10:30 - 12:00 10U- 12:30 - 2:00 12U - 3:30- 5:00 16U - 5:15 - 6:45 Sunday Aug 18th 14U - 5:00-7:00 Session 2 Saturday Aug 31st 8U - 11:00-12:00 10U & 12U - 12:30-1:30 14U & 16U - 2:00-3:00 Please arrive 20-30 minutes early so your daughter has ample amount of time to get registered and warm up. If your daughter is selected for one of our Assault teams, they MUST enroll into our 2014 spring rec program as well, as this is one of the requirements to be on the team.
