AJK BISE announces Annual Intermediate Part-II (Composite) Examination Results-2014: An Orphan boy student clinches top position in AJK BISE HSSC Annual Exam. 2014: Girls stay atop clinching two out of three top positions: Private Colleges secures distinctions with an excellent performance as compared to their public-sector contemporaries: Only one government college secured the solitary position out of first top 20 positions. MIRPUR (AJK): Sept. 12: An Orphan boy student of a local private-sector college clinches top position in Higher Secondary School Certificate Part-II (Composite) Examination (Annual-2014), held under the auspices of AJK Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur, it was officially announced. The overall results of the annual Intermediate (Part II) / Composite Examination 2014 was announced here on Friday. The results is also available on the website of the AJK BISE after 9.30 a.m. The Boards website address is: ajkbise.net , Controller Examination (Colleges) AJK BISE Muhmmad Aslam Chaudhry told APP here on Friday. At the same time the girl students also stayed atop as they secured first top two positions out of the top 20 positions in the results of the annual Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) Part-II examination – 2014, announced here yesterday. It is worthwhile to mention here that the top position-holding student Mr. Khurshid Hassan s/o Abdul Rehman (Role No. 505626), belonging to remote Samahni valley, of private-sector Read Foundation College Samani, Bhimbher district, is an orphan and he did his studies on his own round-the-clock hard struggle with the blessings of Allah, the Almighty, but without the blessings of his parents – both late mother and father. The preliminary analyses of the overall results spoke of the unprecedented excellent performance of the private-sector colleges as compared to those running in the public sector across Azad Jammu Kashmir – as only one government college located in Muzaffarabad, secured a total of only one position out of first top 20 positions, announced by the AJK BISE at a special ceremony held here late Thursday. The private-sector Read Foundation College Samahni Bhimbher district secured the top position in entire board. This college also clinched distinction of bagging bagged a total of six positions out of first top-20 positions including the first top position clinched its male student – Mr. Khurshid Hassan s/o Abdul Rehman (Role No. 505626) who secured 1028 marks out of total of 1100 marks. According to details, Azad Jammu Kashmir Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mirpur here Thursday unveiled the salient features, including the names of the top 20 positions-holding students, of the results of annual intermediate (Part-II) / Composite examination – 2014, held under the auspices of the Board. The AJK BISE announced the salient features of the results of the examination at the special ceremony here Thursday where AJK minister for education (Colleges) Muhammad Matloob Inqlabi – who also announced the names of the first top three positions holding students. The ceremony, presided over by AJK BISE Chairman Prof. Muhammad Zaheer Chaudhry, was attended among others by the top 20 positions-holding students, their parents, heads of the private and public sector colleges, securing distinctive performance in the exam. Unveiling the salient features of the results, Controller Examination (Colleges) AJK BISE Prof. Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry disclosed that a total of 39406 candidates out of a total of 41190 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of those appeared in the examination a total of 18123 candidates were declared successful. Thus the overall result of the entire Board remained 45.99 percent. The overall result of regular candidates remained 61.03 percent – whereas the overall result of private candidates remained 28.88 percent. Mr. Khurshid Hassan s/o Abdul Rehman (Role No. 505626) of the private sector Read Foundation College Samani, Bhimbher district, belonging to pre-medical group secured first position in entire Board in the examination by securing 1028 marks out of total of 1100 marks. Similarly Ms. Isra Ali Nawas d/o Kh Muhammad Nawaz (Role No. 502053) (Pre-Engineering group) of Fatim-Tuz-Zahra Girls Degree College Ziarat, Paniola (Poonch district) and Ms. Faiza Sharif d/o Muhammad Sharif (Role No. 501332), (Pre-Medical group ), of Fatim-Tuz-Zahra Girls College, Kotli secured 2nd and 3rd positions in the entire board by obtaining 1019 and 1014 marks respectively. Among the other position holding girl students belonging to the pre-Medical group included Ms. Noor ul Ain Ashfaq d/o Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry (Role No. 501330) of Fatim-Tuz-Zahra Girls College, Kotli, secured the overall third position amongst the top three positions-holding students belonging to the pre-medical group by bagging 1009 marks. Among the first three positions holding boy students belonging to pre-engineering group Mr. Fraz Farooq s/o Muhammad Farooq (Roll No. 515995) of Punjab College Mirpur, Syed Wajee-ul-Hassan s/o Syed Abdul Qayyum (Roll No. 515686) of private sector Kashmir Model College Mirpur and Muhammad Hamza Khalid s/o Dr. Muhammad Yousaf Khalid, Executive Director of Jinnah Hospital Mirpur (Roll No. 515865) of the private-sector Crescent Model College Mirpur bagged first, second and third positions in the entire board by securing 1009, 1006 and 992 marks out of total of 1100 marks each respectively. Among the first three positions holding girl students belonging to pre-engineering group Ms. Sabahat Tanveer (Role No. 510027) of Govt. Model Science College Muzaffarabad, Ms. Anam Riaz (Role No. 510533) of Tameer-e-Insaniat Public Academy & Model College Ziarat Paniola Poonch district and Ms. Anisa Zafar d/o Zafar Iqbal of Degree College Rawalakot Poonch (Role No. 510474) of respectively bagged first, second and third position by securing 1001, 966 and 938 marks out of total of 1100 marks each respectively. AJK Minister for Higher Education and Information Technology Ch. Muhammad Matloob Inqlabi was the Chief guest on this occasion. He was flanked by AJK Secretary Higher Education and I.T Mahmood Khan, Chairman AJK BISE Muhammad Zaheer Chaudhry, DPI AJK, Mrs. Shamim Ashie, Controller Examination (Colleges) Muhammad Aslam, Secretary AJK BISE Mirza Muhammad Munir Jarral, Div. Director Education Prof. Anjum Afshan Naqvi and other senior officials of the State Higher Education Department. Speaking on this occasion, the chief guest , AJK minister for Education Matloob Inqlabi said that the incumbent AJK government is seriously contemplating to introduce the latest education system harmonious to the need of the modern age – under the spirit to produce quality future architects of the nation. The minister said that a strong and stable Pakistan was the guarantee to the freedom of Kashmir. He said that the sitting PPP government in AJK was determined to make the Kashmir freedom movement complete success. “The government believed that the people of Jammu & Kashmir be granted opportunity to decide about their fate through their own will under the spirit of the international norms”, he said adding it was the only way to grant the people of Jammu & Kashmir their legitimate right to self determination. The minister underlined the achievements of the sitting government in the higher education sector including emergence of five universities in the public sector besides three medical colleges, an IT university in Kotli and a full-fledge women university in the public sector in Poonch districts. The BISE Chairman Prof. Zaheer Chaudhry while elaborating the curricular activities of the BISE reiterated that his organization is determined to maintain the foolproof examination system on latest grounds under the aegis of the Board to ensure the maintenance of high principles and credibility of the institution for the sake of establishment of the trend of competition among the students throughout Azad Jammu Kashmir. For the convenience of the successful students, the AJK BISE has invited the heads of the concerned educational institutions to obtain the result cards of their respective students from the office of the Board by hand from September 13, 2014. The successful regular candidates, seeking to obtain their result cards directly from the office of Board may appear for the same along with the authority letter from the head of their concerned college. The result cards of regular candidates will be sent to the heads of their respective colleges the BISE declared. Whereas the result cards of the private candidates will be sent through registered mail on their respective addresses. The Board has asked the candidates to contact the Controller Examination Colleges if the result cards are not reached to them in next 30 days. The Intermediate (Supplementary) Examination-2014 is likely to be commenced from October 23, 2014. Only those candidates would be eligible to appear in the scheduled supplementary examinaterion-2014 who have totally failed in the annual examination-2014(Composite) or have enjoyed the chance or who enjoyed the chance to appear in the examination till supplementary-2014. The students intending to improve divisions can also appear in the supplementary examination as above under the rules. The admission forms are available in all authorized main branches of Habib Bank Ltd at all tehsil and district headquarters in Azad Kashmir. The admission forms may be submitted according to the schedule to be obtained from the Board on the basis of the result declared in the official gazette without waiting for the result card. Ends
