ALAN VINK FOR COUNCIL A FRESH PERSPECTIVE Standing as the Raglan Ward Councillor for Waikato District Council. Jeanette and I love living in Raglan especially with two of our grandies very nearby. My first term on the Raglan Community Board and as Deputy Chair has been an excellent experience and an eye opener! I am currently CEO (p/t) of Willow Creek Association in NZ, an organisation that primarily focuses on leadership development for not-for-profit organisations. As a candidate for Council I am saying Yes to:- - Improving community dialogue and information sharing and encouraging voter’s engagement in the political process. - Raglan’s national leadership in waste reduction - Revisiting ‘Raglan Naturally’ as a template for any future Structure (Spatial) Plan. - Spending within Council’s income and minimising debt. - Promoting Raglan as a great place to live work and play. - Maintaining Raglan’s unique ‘vibe’ and yet embracing change.
