ALBAY 2014: ALBAY GETS ANOTHER WATER FILTRATION MACHINE FFROM AECID. AECID officials in the Philippines have notified Dr. Cedric Daep, head of Apsemo and Climate ChangeAcademy Albay, that they are turning over for the stewardship of Albay province another unit of filtration machine with a capacity of 33,000liters/hr. This unit was newly delivered and was used in Tolosa, Leyte. The Albay WATSAN group of Team Albay OCDV is being organized and will be dispatched to get the unit which would expand the capacity of Albay to produce and supply potable water for both local and national emergencies. On the 28th of January (Tuesday), Albay Provincial Governor Joey Sarte Salceda will meet AECID officials related to Cooperation and Development initiatives/programs/projects in the province, between the Governor and delegates from AECID. attending the meeting will be the Department Head of Cooperation for Asia and the Arab World from AECID-Antonio Gonzalez- and the Coordinator General of the Spanish Cooperation in the Philippines-Vicente Sellés. The meeting was set up by Mr. Norberto Gómezde Liaño, D.PA, MBA-IB (Madrid), Deputy Coordinator General Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) Techincal Cooperation Office, Embassy of Spain in the Philippines.
