ALERT - Product recall for HypoMon hypo alarm AIMEDICS Pty Ltd has announced today that it is voluntary recalling the HypoMon from Australia and UK markets. The company has advised that recent field trials had revealed that the HypoMon alarm was not performing as well as had been expected. The HypoMon is designed to identify and trigger an alarm when it detects night-time hypoglycaemia (hypos). AIMEDICS Chairman Gordon Towell said that “the AIMEDICS board had made this voluntary recall decision as we want to investigate further technical options to improve the HypoMon user experience”.
