ALERT: POSSIBLE IGS ENERGY SCAMMERS: Door-to-Door Salesmen! igsenergy Main Headquarters: 6100 Emerald Pkwy, Dublin, OH 43016 (614) 659-5000 My call to IGS Energy: I am calling on behalf of Dewitt County, Illinois. Do you have people going from door to door on behalf of your company, IGS Energy? I am inquiring about the legitimacy of this operation in order to lay to rest some concerns raised in the community or if necessary, contact the proper authority in the case of a scam. Customer Service Rep. Response: All door to door salesmen should be wearing a vest that has the IGS Energy logo, with a picture I.D. and name. Their purpose is to evaluate and inform about energy cost and savings. They normally work in groups of two. If you see anyone again, ask them for their Agent I.D # number and call this number 1-800-280-4474 to inquire that he does work for us. Ask for McKenna Walten or Anna Summers before 4pm. NOTE: The salesperson asked to have a copy of my gas bill OR account number. He was NOT wearing a badge other than the logo on his vest. He was alone.
