ALERT!! Waffle House is boycotting Belgian waffles because of the WorldCup ! According to an article, The Waffle House has planted their flag in the soil and proclaimed loudly NO BELGIAN WAFFLES! on Tuesday. This article also describe the different techniques to detect the “traitor” waffle (aka Belgians ones) for US supporters. Zinnekens, a Boston-based waffle bakery respond fiercely to the boycott: - the BELGIAN WAFFLE DOES NOT EXIST !
