ALICANTE GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Tuesday 21st October 2014: WEATHER ALERT.......this is not a drill!!!.......AEMET, the Spanish National Weather Service, has issued a YELLOW ALERT for the Litoral Sur de Alicante area for......wait for it......HIGH TEMPERATURES!!!......After yesterdays epic forecast dont expect too much today as my brain is still recovering!!!......Its not recovering as a result of writing and collating it all up, its recovering from the process of posting it all up in order!!!.......For your weather today we remain lovely a hot, plenty of sun, cloud in places yet again sweeping over at times, and some wind for good measure especially tonight in the north, but I dont think it warrants a Yellow Alert for that heat which takes affect from 12 MIDDAY through to 6pm!!!.......Malaga Province is to see higher temperatures today than Alicante Province and they dont have Yellow Fever so beats me why!!!.......Yes, its going to be hot but its not going to last!!!.......With regards that wind, we are expecting some strong winds through tonight and well into tomorrow so beware and stow loose external items just in case Im right!!!.......We remain on the rails for the sun to stay with us through to the end of the month at least and we are still focused on the weather changing as we welcome the start of November.......However, by this coming weekend we should feel an initial drop in temperatures and an even bigger drop with the probable change in November!!!........On the subject of another change, we remind you again that very early this coming Sunday morning the clocks go BACK one hour beckoning in those darker evenings and therefore shorter days!!!......Thats ya lot today......Have a good one and hope its drama free!!!......Jim Fraser for the EiALERT NETWORK!!! :)
