ALL IS IN ORDER It is very important to recognise a job well done when the result is achieved beyond expectation. When Coach Shakes Mashaba was appointed as the new head coach of SA, his job description didnt have qualification to the 2015 Afcon. It was all about building a team ready to challenge for the next world cup in Russia. But Shakes knew, the only outcome expected by all South Africans was for sure, a qualification, any qualification. And he delivered, he achieved that objective in flying fashion with a game to spare. Now, that is incredible. Simply incredible. Congratilations to Shakes & his team. The next challenge isnt as big as the achieved one but it is huge. To beat Nigeria at home and eliminates them from the 2015 rendez vous in Malabo. Now that would be something (even the president would love to see happen). Last time Nigeria failed to defend their title (1996), South African went on to win it. And if CAF didnt change the year of the event, Afcon could he been in 2016. SPOOKY. anyway, What does Shakes needs to beat Nigeria at home? Does Shakes has enough arsenals to upset Nigeria of Keshi? What about the drive? Does he still have the drive to win despite SA qualification? My only small concern on a perfect Bafana Bafana performance is, not clinical enough. Until then.... SIYAYA ISI EQ GUINEA. WELDONE
