ALL NEW “Therefore, if any person be in Christ, he or she is a new one: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” – Paul. (II Corinthians, 5:17.) Very often we see anxious believers utilizing the sacred resources of prayer, begging to extend unjustifiable situations only because it involves immediate advantages for their egotistical concerns. Such mental attitude constitutes very serious behavior. Christ taught us to be patient and tolerant, yet He never asked His disciples to make deals with the errors which make this world unfortunate. In view of this statement, He was crucified and left the last testimony of no-violence, but also the one of no-acceptance of the darkness in which the majority of mankind is enveloped. Therefore, a believer should not be mistaken about his or her pathway, which is his or her responsibility. In Christ, everything must be renewed. A mistaken past will be forgotten, uncertain situations will be finished, and the ancient considerations of the physical person will be replaced by a new life in spirit, where everything leads to a healthy reconstruction for an eternal future. It is senseless using the name of Jesus to continue to make old mistakes. When seeing believers with good words but with their innermost being yet to be renovated, and positioning themselves before the Master like prisoners attached to chains, then we can be sure that these persons could be at Christ’s door with sincere intentions. However, they still have not achieved enough to penetrate into the sanctuary of His love. Emmanuel (Spirit). The pathway, the truth & life. [received by] Francisco Cândido Xavier.
