ALS ice bucket challenge? Apparently I have a few hours to do this or donate. Well while I may have desired to be nominated a few days ago I now realise that 1. It is a waste of water, with the world crying out for clean drinking water. (Not just the third world but also american states. 2. It is yes to raise awareness but by now everyone has heard of it. 3. Most people do it A: without ice B: without donating anyway. C: to get likes (if it was about ALS why have people tried to go bigger and better than the previous bucket?) ALS is a tragic issue which we should be doing more to solve. Yes. But why must we create a gimmick to get people to throw money at it? Thus. I shall not be taking part in this challenge. I will not be told to either waste water or give money. Ive wanted to give money to charity for a while so I perhaps will donate to ALS or something that affects a larger proportion of people. No ice. Instead I will over the next few weeks be signing up for some volunteer work so I can do some real work to help the people of earth. I am starting my own challenge. Its called actually help people instead of pretending to. If you have donated to ALS then you may ignore this if you desire or you can help out and do something for others without needing a gimmick. I challenge the people of earth to start helping each other more than they do now. Try not to hate so much. If you did the challenge and didnt donate. Please unfriend me unless you had a good reason not to. Stop being so selfish humanity.
