ALUTA ROCKET: LAUTECH SECOND SEMESTER RESUMPTION DATE Ever dynamic Ladokites, It is no longer news that the school management has refused to announce officially the date for second semester resumption. In experience, there are three practical ways which I tag the “THREE C OF ALUTA” by which critical issues bothering the Student Union Government can be tackled. i) Constructive consultation and Destructive Consultation ii) Consolidation and iii) Confrontation (protest). Fellow Ladokites, efforts have been made via constructive consultation, with the school management to confirm and declare officially our resumption date immediately after harmattan semester examinations were rounded up on November 7, 2014. (All to no avail) This was followed by a threat to protest awareness tagged “ALUTA ROCKET PROTEST ALERT” that was made clear by my previous post on the above subject matter, which serves as part of Destructive Consultation. I believe that the school management will have a meeting concerning our resumption date this week; I therefore, beseech my brothers and sisters to wait patiently for the outcome of the meeting. Although they may come up with excuses like the renovation of some buildings in the school (but that is not a reason for them not to know what to do and when to do it). Ever-reasonable Ladokites, we have dealt in good faith with the school authority, if the school management still refuses to make know on formal terms our resumption date for rain semester then we will take 24th of November, 2014 as our resumption date which is the formal proposed date. The management should be ready to watch the film of the “LAST C OF ALUTA” (protest) thereafter. Ever-intelligent Ladokites, let us recall vividly that when I posted it during the last semester break (i.e 2nd Semester 2012/2013 Section) that either by “WARFARE OR WELFARE” we will resume on 30th of June, 2014. Did we resume or not? Yes we did exactly that day after a Peaceful and Powerful Protest {PPP}. Ever-gallant and Ever-valiant students of Lautech, I hereby bring to a close by coming to a decision that we wait till 24th of November, 2014. If the school management still don’t make our resumption visible on or before the 24th of November, 2014. Then I urge (in advance) all gallant, reasonable, intelligent, caring, articulate and ever dynamic Ladokites to get read for a Peaceful and Powerful Protest (PPP). I must salute the likes of Com. ID Aluta, Com. Dan Fodio, Com. Treasure and others who have fought and are still fighting for the yearning and aspirations of Ladokites and Nigeria students at large before I was born (into the struggle).
