ALshabaab & KENYAS GUATANAMO ×××××××××××××××××××××××××××× I am living in fear. I hate living in fear. Fear is debilitating. After westgate I stopped shopping at Malls... and started going to the less glam rural market places, gikosh, githurai, roadside kiosks, local bata for shoes yeiks... etc lets just say that my shopping experience is no longer enjoyable and entails dressing like a mûkûrino(to blend in)... which is torture for a tanktop/mgomgo-wazi/miniskirt gal like me! aaaand no places to do coffee after shopping! Damn shabab robbing my shopping swag!!! I love being chauffeured in matatus...really my best biashara/writing inspiration comes in the 30-45 minutes ride when Im seated half asleep along the now very smooth thika superhighway. Siku hizi wacha tu. I take forever before boarding a mat or any public transport for that matter ... Im literally having panic attacks, cant think and shukaing even before reaching my destination. IT.IS.NOT.FUNNY Noooow these forkojembe arooshabaabu boys (or imitating criminals) have started attacking my last shopping frontier! and favourite mode of transport! Needless to say Im avoiding my fav entertainment places. and crowds, while in the city, I dont want to be in a place with more than 5people! Everytime there is a blast, Im frantic to trace my very many friends and family. Every single time ... and now its too frequent. So you see, I am in a #Mad_woman_mode I am against the wall. I am angry. I am rattled. I am exhausted. When a cup drops I shtuka. my dreams are nightmares of falling down! Hata naogopa kuzaa, I wouldnt want to bring a child to live in this fear-drenched environment! Nîûndü wa ûhoro ûcio, here is my very MICHUKI-ish solution to these menace... I say we establish our very own guatanamo no-nonsense prison! We water board, finya makende and rough the living hell out of whoever is caught threatening the sovereignty of this country called Kenya... threatening the lives of her citizens. We gotta rise up and defend this space like a lion defends its territory... like a lioness protects her young!!! Defeding Kenyas sovereignty should be our govts full time business! Without apology. Without any diplomatic negotiations. In our very own PECULIAR kenyan way! Mimi naskia human rights wakisema ohhohh... Kitu gani?! I say if a country have issues with us defending our sovereignty, or ati we are torturing aliens... they best be packing and going! Wakwende.Nî mainûke. Time for babysitting and pussyfooting some crazyass suicidal Criminals in the name of some diplomatic political-correctness is over!
