AMBER LIGHTS, PEOPLE! THEYRE THERE FOR A REASON!! And heres my rant: Last night driving my kids to Youth Group BBQ ... I am south bound on 50 Street a few blocks away from the Anthony Henday ... I see the pedestrian flashing amber lights activated and I come to a stop to let kids on their bikes cross ... next thing I know there is this young man who had to slam on his brakes behind me because of his ridiculous speed and then has the audacity to give ME the finger??!!! I was so angry. This guy slammed on his brakes so hard that his vehicle is on the centre line. What. an. idiot. ... When it was safe to proceed I did, and he then continues to drive like a complete moron - and as he whipped around me I laid on my horn at him for a good 3-4 seconds. Jerk! I should have followed him and gave him a piece of my mind!! ... Imagine if I wasnt in front of him? He could have hit these kids on their bikes!!! Ive seen a child hit at one of these crossings before by a truck at full force ... that is NOT FUN TO WATCH! ... Amber lights. They are there for a reason!!
