AMERICAN Sniper has hit the bulls-eye with Australian audiences during its opening weekend. DIRECTED by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper, the film made its debut in the top spot with $5.3 million, according to the Motion Picture Distributors Association of Australia. It follows its long-weekend opening of $US105 million in the US, and some predict the film might break the $US200 million mark in its first 10 days there.
