#AMustRead I just found out from a talented Hairdresser ( Sommer May Tapene ) even though you may have purchased 100% Virgin Remy Hair (never been chemically processed, coloured and cuticles in the one direction), it does not always mean it can be coloured. Prior to selling 100% Human Hair manufacturers would obviously need to treat the hair to ensure it meets health and safety regulations. In addition a silicone treatment would be added (benefits of silicone treatments is specified in the article below). Dependent on the intensity of the silicone treatment will determine how easily hair colour can be stripped. I purchased this gorgeous, soft, bouncy, tangle free 100% Virgin Indian Remy Hair Weft (Natural Dark no.2) and wanted to dye it to an Ombre 2/27. Sommer did advise me of the difficulties because hair would have been treated and of course I did not listen. She put the strongest hair bleach through it 4 times and at best the hair colour was stripped to a no.6 - Chocolate Brown. So keep this in mind when purchasing hair extensions if you intend to colour it. Great news with x10-shenz is, you can customize the hair colour to order so you do not go through the same ordeal as myself.
