ANC MEETS PSL The Secretary-General of the African National Congress, Comrade Gwede Mantashe, today led a delegation of the ANC in a meeting with the Premier Soccer League. The delegation of PSL was led by the Chairperson of the League, Dr. Irvin Khoza. The meeting was one of many interactions of the ANC with various sectors of society on matters of common interest and focused on the role that, working together, we must play to develop South African soccer. Areas of discussion included amongst others ensuring and increasing access to quality facilities and providing more development opportunities for youth. We have agreed on continuous engagement moving forward and will broaden discussions to include other stakeholders within the soccer fraternity such as the South African Football Association. The African National Congress has committed itself to supporting the Premier Soccer League attain its vision of the betterment and development of the beautiful game, South Africas best loved sport.
