AND THEY THAT KNOW THY NAME WILL PUT THEIR TRUST IN THEE: FOR THOU, LORD, HAST NOT FORSAKEN THEM THAT SEEK THEE. Todays scripture connects the knowledge of God with trusting Him. Practically no one trusts a total strange, the human nature does not trust new things about which it has no knowledge. I have heard and seen people making enquiries about a car, an electronic gadget, appliances or particular material before they purchase, just to make sure they are buying a product they can trust. Before one rents an apartment, do you prod the street, area and apartment to make sure you rent an apartment where you can trust to have peace? Yes! It is simply the way God made man. To seek knowledge! God never asked the trust of man who dont know Him, that is why He urges you to find out about Him in the scriptures. The absence of the knowledge of God is calamitous! Read this: AND EVEN AS THEY DID NOT LIKE TO RETAIN GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE, GOD GAVE THEM OVER TO A REPROBATE MIND, TO DO THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT CONVENIENT! Sounds like the absence of the knowledge of God turns the mind reprobate! Seems to me from the scripture that life becomes inconvenient and difficult without the knowledge of God! Grievous! God expressly warns us, MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. . , SEEING THOU HAST FORGOTTEN THE LAW OF THY GOD, I WILL ALSO FORGET THY CHILDREN! God forbid! What is in it however for those who know God? . , BUT THE PEOPLE THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG AND DO EXPLOITS. How can we have the knowledge of God? Seek it! Read the scriptures! Get yourselves acquaintances with the knowledge of Him, in form of friends, allies and pastors! YEA, IF THOU CRIEST AFTER KNOWLEDGE, AND LIFTEST UP THY VOICE FOR UNDERSTANDING: IF THOU SEEKEST HER AS SILVER, AND SEARCHEST FOR HER AS FOR HID TREASURES; THEN SHALT THOU UNDERSTAND THE FEAR OF THE LORD AND FIND THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. This is only when you can say assuredly that you put your trust in Him! AS FOR GOD, HIS WAY IS PERFECT; THE WORD OF THE LORD IS TRIED: HE IS A BUCKLER TO ALL THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM. THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE GLAD IN THE LORD, AND SHALL TRUST IN HIM; AND ALL THE UPRIGHT IN HEART SHALL GLORY. when you know Him and put your trust in Him, you can be sure He will never forsake you.
