AND YET...................... This section has been all about the terrible things that mankind has done despite all the good things that You have done, and from a worldly perspective that is absolutely correct. We ARE TRULY SORRY Oh Lord God!!!!!!!!! However, You are in total control of ALL events. You are the same God, yesterday, today and for ever. Nothing that is happening is a surprise to You. You have given us the blueprint (The Holy Bible) and how it all pans out, and how it culminates. This is NOT to say that we must do nothing. You have created in us a desire to be a part of Your mighty plan. We really WANT to do Your Will. There are many, many occasions when we fall short, and we are told that even our best deeds are as filthy rags to You. That however is only if we try to do things in our own strength, which we are inclined to do. If, with Your help, we do Your will in Your way then we KNOW that that will bring success. The however above is not a shedding of responsibility. We ARE guilty without even realising the magnitude of our sin. But Lord, You are a forgiving God, and I want to thank You that You are who You are.
